“Waste!” this is how they call HOPKINS vs. DAWSON boxing match. After Chad Dawson winning lightweight Championship by doubtful 2 round matches via TKO, fans and critics had made a huge fuss on this pay per view event. This is a so called hullabaloo since the fight ended by Hopkins complaining an injured left shoulder. This should have been an exciting fight. This should have been historical for Hopkins. But it seems now, that it’s only going to be part of his history in boxing. Post fight, Hopkins was brought to California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles and was diagnosed with a separation of the acromioclavicular joint connecting the collar bone and shoulder blade.
This fight may possibly be knocked over when it gets evaluated by California Athletic Commission or the World Boxing. It’s a funny ending. It’s just so unsatisfactory to see a legend put up a fight like that after promising too many things during promotion. It’s a complete waste of money, time and effort for viewers, producers and promoters. We can’t put the blame on the referee who called to stop the fight. This is just an idiotic result of what both fighters have acted during the match.
If you do not know Hopkins, then you might think this fight needs to be overturned. But let’s take a good look on how he became history, and then you may give an impression that he has done his old ways again. Too bad the referee did not buy it, and called a win for Dawson. Moreover, I didn’t appear to see him doing a superior defense before the “funny” ending.
On the other hand, Dawson may have gain the belt but this is not MMA. Boxing is not about takedowns. You could have just let him duck you off and stood up, fight as a boxer, if you cant shift on MMA.
You have stained the WORLD of BOXING. How can this be called a pay per view event?

What fight were you watching? lol It was just like the last two fihtgs, they both beat each other up, it was exciting, but Pacquiao just did a little more to win the decisions. Every fighter has at least that one guy that makes things difficult for him. More than any other fighter. The only guy left for him to fight is Mayweather. But Mayweather is ducking him now. Coming up with excuse after excuse, even after Pacquiao did everything Mayweather’s camp wanted him to do. Jr. is scared to lose his 0 under Losses.
